Thunder Bay Amethysts are from Thunder Bay Ontario in Canada.  They contain Hematite.  The Hematite typically settles to the top of the crystals which gives them the reddish coloring.  They may contain up to 23 different minerals.
 
Due to the Hematite, it is a powerhouse crystal for empaths.  Thunder Bay Amethyst is grounding, and it combines the qualities of Amethyst, and the protection of Hematite.  These crystals are for positive mental/intellectual, spiritual, and physical growth.  They have a lovely energy that is very calming.
