Paraiba Quartz was found in the 1980s.  This extremely rare material was in the Paraiba Hills of Brazil.  The area which contained the material, held very little to be mined.  This specimen comes from the 1980s Brazilian find.  This is only the second Paraiba Quartz that I have ever seen.
