See through the chaos and stand through the storm.  Omarolluk or Omar Stone is a sandstone concretion.  It has distinctive circular ring-like layers surrounding a central area.  The pits form when softer carbonite inclusions dissolve or erode over time.  These stones are made of fine-grained Greywacke Sandstone.  They were carried south from the Hudson Bay, Canada area and deposited across the Great Lakes region as the ice melted.
 
Omarolluk is a powerful protection, resilience, and grounding stone.  It guards a home from negative energy, helps anchor scattered thoughts, and brings clarity.  Rooted in determination, patience, and endurance, it is supportive during difficult life transitions and emotional healing.  Some people use them as a window into the spiritual or fairy realms, Shamanic journeying, and dreamwork.  The pits enhance subtle-realm perception.  These stones hold the energy of earth, water and air.
