This adorable Pug is carved in Obsidian.  Obsidian is a clearing crystal. If there is anything negative in a person, other crystals, or your environment, Obsidian acts as a filter to clear that negativity. It will work at a distance, but if a person, crystal, or other object touches an obsidian piece, they/it are/is immediately cleaned. Since Obsidian grabs things out so quickly, it is a stone that needs to be cleaned regularly to allow it to continue to do what it does best.
 
It is also a blockage releaser emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Obsidian is grounding and acts as a stabilizer. This could be helpful during stressful times, times of change, or times of turmoil.
