Black Obsidian is your sponge for absorbing negativity and your shield from the storm.  This volcanic glass is a grounding stone with amazing clearing powers.  If someone has something in them, and they touch an Obsidian piece, it will be drawn out of them.  It pulls out and absorbs blockages, stress, and negativity which will then be transmuted.  Black Obsidian works for other stones or items as well.  This is one crystal that needs to be cleaned frequently.
