Black Obsidian, a volcanic glass, is a grounding stone with amazing clearing powers.  If someone has something in them, and touches an Obsidian piece, it will be drawn out of them.  It draws out and absorbs blockages, stress, and negativity too which will then be transmuted.  It works for other stones or items as well.  This is one crystal that needs to be cleaned frequently.
