Copper is a very conductive metal. It is used in plumbing and sometimes as door knobs in hospitals due to its antimicrobial properties.  Since it is conductive, it is also used in wiring. 
 
These two properties translate to the spiritual realm as well.  Copper moves energy through your body’s electrical system.  This movement combats tiredness and lethargy as the energy moves through your spirit and aura.  It amplifies positivity and optimism.  I love to use Copper in a grid to energize the other stones.  I feel that this energy burns off any “germs” that could infect the stones in the grid.
 
Copper amplifies or illuminates your intentions and thoughts.  It is often used to help with pain especially in arthritic joints.  Copper helps mental agility, creates balanced energy, and provides connections to the spiritual world.  It aids in manifesting your desires from the spiritual realm to the physical realm of reality.
 
The metal is soft, which means that Copper brings softness to whatever it does.  It grounds higher vibrations into the physical realm.  It is helpful in balancing Chakras.  If you feel one of your Chakras is off or blocked, place the Copper on that Chakra to rebalance it.  If your Chakra is already balanced, placing Copper on it will do no harm.
