Mint symbolizes fertility, prosperity, renewal, communication, love, happiness, success, and protection.  It repels negative energies and evil spirits while cleaning and purifying your physical and energetic spaces.  The protective shield works for protecting your home or when used in a spell for safe travels.  When placed on an altar, Mint calls in good spirits.  As a tool for renewal, it is a calming source of solace during grieving and acts as a rejuvenator during periods of rest.  It helps amplify intentions and manifest desires.
 
Mint can be used as a tea, in a bath, in spells and rituals, to wash your floors and front door, to protect your money, to refresh the energies of your home, as an incense (try a little first as a lot of people dislike the smell of burnt Mint), in foods, and a tincture.
 
It has been used for many centuries.  The Ancient Egyptians buried it in their tombs to ensure a prosperous afterlife since it represented wealth.  Wreaths were made by the Romans for a newly married couple to encourage a happy marriage.  The Ancient Hebrews placed the leaves on their synagogue floors for special events.  Native Americans believed that mint tea blocked witchcraft.
 
The Mint is safe for ingestion.  It is grown organically on my property.
