Lemon Balm is in the Mint family and carries feminine energy.  It symbolizes intuition, emotional healing, healing from trauma, good luck, general positivity, clarity, and Heart Chakra healing.  Lemon Balm is also called Bee Balm because the flowers attract bees, butterflies, and other pollinators.  It repels evil and attracts good/helpful spirits.  Lemon Balm is considered a sacred herb of Hecate.
                                        
Lemon Balm can be burned as an incense (try a little as a lot of people dislike the smell when it is burnt), a tea, a tincture, an anointing oil, a spray, a solid balm, in a bath, seasoning for food, and a syrup.
 
It is often used in spells for prosperity, love, and fertility.  You can sprinkle dried leaves on your doorstep, wash your crystals in Lemon Balm infused water, or wash the doors of your house with Lemon Balm water.  As you do any of these things, visualize luck, good fortune, and prosperity coming to you.  You can also visualize anything evil or malevolent being banished.
 
This Lemon Balm is safe for ingestion.  It was grown organically on my property.  I use mine to make tea.  People with thyroid issues should be careful as it may interfere with their medication.
