Fibrous Malachite is gentler than regular Malachite. It is a heart chakra stone that facilitates transformation through emotional healing, emotional breakthroughs, and energy clearing.  Releasing past traumas is so freeing.
 
Since this form of Malachite has less of a kick to it, it is great to start with this, and then the energies of regular Malachite will seem less intense.  You can then do a more powerful healing process.
 
It is also a stone that helps protect you against accidents.  I have had several clients who had multiple car accidents.  I told them to carry a Malachite tumble in the glove compartment of their vehicle and also in their purse or pocket.  I would personally use a tumble for this purpose since fibrous malachite is a bit more fragile.
