Black Obsidian is a "cleaner" crystal.  It will clean other stone if they have something in them, and it will also draw out negativity and entities from people.  This is one of the few stones where size does matter.
 
The size is perfect for gridding, crafts, or a small travel bag of crystals. They also work well with the mini-bottles listed in the  Miscellaneous category.
