The Bamboo Lid has a silicone ring to keep the lid in place.  Access to whatever is stored in the jar is quick and easy.  The lid gives an elegant look to any Mason jar.  You could use it for snacks, teas, coffee, sugar, candy, coffee creamer, crystals, bath salts (Check out M1006 & LDG4), Q-Tips, cotton balls, or anything else. 
 
The lid shown fits a regular mouth Mason jar.  The jar size could be jelly, pint, quart, or half gallon as long as the opening is considered regular mouth sized.  There is also a wide mouth sized Bamboo Lid available.  If you are interested in those, please let me know.
