Amber is a stone that will help protect you from psychic attacks.  To me it is like Jello which slows down and traps the energy that is being directed at you.  It will prevent the energy from reaching you, and it transmutes it to positive, soothing energy.  The energy of Amber feels very ancient, slow moving, warm, and peaceful.  It is one of the stones that I often use in a protection grid.
